Fake bomb forces evacuation of Woodward High
Woodward High School was evacuated this morning, after a device that
looked like a bomb was found in a girl's restroom.
The device was found shortly before nine this morning in the north
Toledo school.
The device was later determined to be a phony bomb, but the entire student body
was taken to the nearby Caldwell Community Center. Those who weren't
picked up by their parents were later taken to Waite High School in east
Toledo.
The Toledo Police bomb squad also searched the rest of the Woodward High
building, but found no other suspicious items.
Early Thursday evening police say they have no suspects in the scare.
